MCYO - Season Highlights 1999-2001 Strathmore was approved!!! The County Council unanimously approved the proposed $89 million concert hall and education center in North Bethesda May 10. This will be the future home for MCYO, . along with the National Chamber Orchestra and the Masterwork Chorus and Orchestra. The Baltimore Symphony will also perform a concert series at Strathmore. This state-of- the art facility will provide us with the well needed rehearsal space, concert facilities, and office space which we have desperately needed the last few years. The Montgomery County Youth Orchestra's Philharmonic was selected to perform at the MENC 57th National Biennial In-Service Conference, "Make Music, America" which was held in Washington DC, on March 8-11, 2000. MCYO was among a select few musical organizations nation-wide selected to perform at the conference. Click for details Why not try the Bass or Viola?
