National Philharmonic - Learn more about one of our Washington's most respected professional  orchestras.   The National Philharmonic is in residence at the Music Center at Strathmore.  Students age 7-17 attend the orchestra and chorale concerts free!

Levine School of Music - From age four months to 100 years, the Levine School offers an outstanding music education. Courses include private and group lessons in more than 20 instruments and voice for everyone-- the beginner, lifelong amateur or budding virtuoso.
ASTA ASTA MD/DC - The American String Teachers Association, founded more than 60 years ago, is a membership organization for string and orchestra teachers and players, helping them to develop and refine their careers. ASTA's members range from budding student teachers to artist-status performers.

Strings International Music Festival
Study with members of The Philadelphia Orchestra at the Strings International Music Festival in Bryn Mawr , Pennsylvania. The 14-day summer program includes private lessons, master classes, daily orchestra rehearsals, an optional chamber music program, solo performance opportunities, two exciting concerto competitions, daily music classes, private practice instruction, and much more! The program is designed for strings students of every age and skill level - from eight years of age through the college years - and includes up to seven orchestra levels. SIMF also includes programs for harp and flute.
